Center for Intelligent Buildings Digital Twinning (IBDT)
IBDT is a research center focused on smarter, more sustainable buildings. In collaboration with UofT Facilities and Services, we are developing digital twin methods that support design, operations, and long-term asset management.
IBDT is a multidisciplinary research hub that applies data science and machine learning to improve how buildings are designed, managed, and experienced.
The UofT Digital Twin is our living testbed for turning campus building data into practical insights. We help operators and researchers test scenarios, improve day-to-day decisions, and build better tools for future-ready facilities.
